Christmas Is Caring 2026 Program Underway in Paris
The Christmas Is Caring 2026 program is once again preparing to bring Christmas cheer to local families in need, with opportunities available for both families who wish to participate and community members who would like to volunteer.
The program is coordinated through First Baptist Church in Paris and relies on community support to help make the holiday season brighter for local families.
Participant Information
CIC applications will be mailed beginning Oct. 1 and will also be available for pickup on the south side of Paris First Baptist Church.
The application deadline is Oct. 22. Completed applications must be returned to First Baptist Church either by mail or by placing them in the box located on the south side of the church.
Friday, Dec. 11, will be the pickup day for participants.
Adopt-A-Child Program
The Adopt-A-Child portion of Christmas Is Caring will begin Oct. 28, when Adopt-A-Child cards will be distributed at Paris Pharmacy, TPNB Bank and MO Regional Bank.
Those who choose to participate in the Adopt-A-Child program will need to return donated items to First Baptist Church by 5 p.m. on Nov. 12.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are also needed throughout the Christmas Is Caring program. Unless otherwise noted, volunteer meetings will be held at Carter Hall at First Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 26 -- 6:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 2 -- 6:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 9 -- 6:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 16 -- 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 18 -- time to be determined; shopping day in Moberly
Monday, Nov. 30 -- 6:30 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 4 -- 9 a.m.
Friday, Dec. 11 -- 9 a.m.
The Christmas Is Caring program is an opportunity for area residents to come together during the holiday season and help provide Christmas gifts and support to local families.
