Fall Into Paris Parade Welcomes Community Participation

The Fall Into Paris celebration is inviting community members, organizations and groups to take part in this year’s parade, with organizers emphasizing that anyone is welcome to join in the fun.

The parade will feature a variety of participants, including tractors, cars, trucks, school groups, church groups, clubs and other community organizations. Individuals who would simply like to participate are also encouraged to join the lineup.

According to Rodney Farrell, parade organizer, they are going to spotlight the Mr and Miss Paris from that days contest. 

Parade participants should line up behind the fairgrounds, behind the bleachers, at 10:30 a.m. From there, the parade will make its way through Paris following the designated route through town.

According to the route map, the parade will travel from the fairgrounds area west along East Caldwell Street, continue through the downtown area, travel north through Paris and loop back toward the fairgrounds.

The parade is part of the Fall Into Paris festivities and offers residents an opportunity to come together, showcase local organizations and businesses, and celebrate the fall season.

Those planning to participate are encouraged to decorate their tractors, vehicles or entries for the occasion and help fill the streets of Paris with fall spirit.

Whether participating in the parade or watching from along the route, residents are invited to come out and enjoy a day centered around community, fun and fall in Paris.
