Winds of Faith

A Way Forward
Brothers and friends, by the time you read today’s Winds of Faith, last Wednesday’s events

will have broken off into many directions. Only time & diligent investigation will reveal how it

all came about. Sometimes the Lord uses things like this to draw us all together for a reconciliation.

Paul's words in 2nd Corinthians 1 3&4 begin to mark out a way forward. He writes, “Blessed be the God

and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies and God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble with which we ourselves

are comforted by God. He writes on in chapter 6 - 1-10 not to receive the grace of God in vain & to give no offense to anything that our ministry not be blamed. His words take on power for this time as he writes for us to be as ministers of God; in much patience, in tribulation, in needs & distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings, by purity, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere Love.

Brothers and friends, as this dark cloud that has come upon our country empties out its fury, let us remember that it is but a storm in time and our Lord walks in and around the waves of storms to get to us. So, let us go forward like Paul writes to us in verse 10; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor,

yet making rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

(prayer) Lord let this be a time that our hearts are wide open to you. amen & amen
